On July 9, Captain E.S. Mkrtchyan of the Ministry of Defense noticed a weak and helpless bear cub in the Vayots Dzor–Ararat border area and immediately contacted the Environmental Protection and Mining Inspection Body. On September 1, the Environmental Protection and Mining Inspection Body initiated administrative proceedings regarding a wildfire in the administrative area of Saravan settlement, Vayk community, Vayots Dzor region. The increase in recorded violations is not due to a rise in offenses but rather the result of enhanced technical equipment and updated legislative regulations.
