On May 14, the Environmental Protection and Mining Inspection Body (EPMIB) received a report from the Tavush Regional Governor’s Office regarding fish deaths observed in the Hakhum (Paravakar) and Berkaber (Joghaz) reservoirs. During preventive measures aimed at protecting atmospheric air, employees of the Environmental Protection and Mining Inspection Body recorded a case of air pollution caused by waste burning in Armavir Province. It was found that production and household waste generated by the activities of an auto service station, located on the right side of the Armavir–Lukashin road, had been disposed of through open burning.
