Employees of the Environmental Protection and Mining Inspection Body (EPMIB) conducted an inspection at “Best Friends” LLC, which operates a dry mortar production facility in Yerevan.
It was found that the company was operating a crusher plant without a permit for the emission of harmful substances into the atmosphere from stationary sources.
By the decision of the head of EPMIB’s Yerevan territorial division, the illegal operation of the crusher plant has been suspended.
An administrative fine of 300,000 AMD has been imposed on the company director, and a claim for compensation for environmental damage has also been issued.
