Employees of the Environmental Protection and Mining Inspection Body carried out an inspection at “AMRAK” LLC, a company engaged in the production of concrete, paving slabs, and blocks in the city of Armavir, Armavir Region.
It was found that during its operations, the company had been operating a concrete plant without the required permit for the emission of hazardous substances into the atmosphere from stationary sources.
By the decision of the Head of the Armavir Regional Division of the Inspection Body, the operation of the concrete plant has been suspended.
An administrative fine of 300,000 AMD was imposed on the company’s director, and a claim for compensation of environmental damage has also been submitted.
