
According to the 2025 inspection plan of the Environmental Protection and Mining Inspection Body, an inspection was carried out in the “Noyemberyan Forestry Enterprise” branch of the “HayAntar” SNCO, covering the period from October 2021 to August 2025.
The inspection revealed the following violations:
- Illegal logging: 236 trees of different species and diameters were cut down. The damage caused to vegetation was assessed at 25,432,500 AMD.
- Land lease contracts: Agreements inconsistent with the forestry management plan were signed, causing 343,500 AMD in damages to vegetation.
- Forest land encroachment: 1,156 sq. m. of forest land was seized, where two buildings were constructed without proper permits, causing 365,120 AMD in damages.
- Illegal subsoil use: Unauthorized exploitation was recorded, inflicting 7,492,500 AMD in damages to forest land resources.
- Fire safety violations: The forestry manager failed to comply with fire safety regulations.
Based on the inspection results, a report on an apparent crime has been submitted to the Investigative Committee of the Republic of Armenia.
