40 kg of illegally caught crayfish released back into Herher Reservoir

On August 29, at around 09:00 a.m., the Environmental protection and Mining Inspection Body received a report from the Patrol Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Vayots Dzor regarding crayfish found in the trunk of a vehicle driven by a citizen.

During the inspection, it was revealed that a resident of Nor Kharberd village in Ararat region, had illegally caught 40.98 kg of crayfish from Herher Reservoir.

The entire quantity of crayfish, caught without the required permit, was confiscated and released back into Herher Reservoir.

The violator will face administrative liability.
