Summary of the Latest Professional Internship of Yerevan State University Students

The Head of the Environmental Protection and Mining Inspection Body of the Republic of Armenia (EPMIB), Mr. Hovhannes Martirosyan, welcomed fourth-year students from the Faculties of Biology, Geography, and Geology of Yerevan State University (YSU) who completed their professional internship at EPMIB.

During the meeting, students shared that during their two-month internship, they had the opportunity to become familiar with environmental monitoring, protection of mineral resources, and principles of sustainable use of natural resources. They also conducted laboratory tests and participated in field surveying activities, applying modern technologies.

The Head of EPMIB emphasized the importance of continued collaboration with educational institutions, expressing hope that students will use the knowledge and professional experience gained during their internship to contribute to the development and improvement of environmental protection, and potentially participate in the public administration sector in the future.
