Illegal Operation of a Concrete Production Facility in Yerevan Suspended

Following an inspection conducted by the Environmental Protection and Mining Inspection Body (EPMIB) at “MEGA SHIN” LLC, it was determined that the concrete production facility operating in Yerevan had been carrying out activities without a permit for the emission of harmful substances into the atmospheric air from stationary sources.

By decision of the Head of the Yerevan Territorial Division of the Inspection Body, the facility’s operations have been suspended.

An administrative fine of 300,000 AMD has been imposed on the company’s director. In addition, a claim has been filed for compensation for environmental damage in the amount of 411,480 AMD.
