A copy of the Red Book of the Republic of Armenia was presented to the school of Kirants.
Head of the Environmental Protection and Mining Inspection Body, Mr. Hovhannes Martirosyan, visited the border village school of Kirants in the Tavush region and met with the teaching staff and middle-grade students.
During the meeting, Mr. Martirosyan spoke about the importance of environmental protection, emphasizing Armenia’s rich biodiversity and the necessity of its preservation.
The students participated in the interactive discussion with great interest, expressed their viewpoints, and raised current environmental issues relevant to their community.
The main goal of this initiative is to foster an informed and responsible attitude toward the environment among the younger generation.
