Operation of 5 illegal wells suspended in Armavir – EPMIB

During inspections aimed at protecting water resources, employees of the Environmental Protection and Mining Inspection Body recorded cases of illegal water use in the Armavir region.

In the village of Lukashin, the company “ALVAN” LLC, in the village of Mayisyan — citizens A.G. and S.G., and in the city of Armavir — citizen A.T., had extracted water from one illegal deep well each for irrigation purposes, without having water use permits.

In addition, in the city of Armavir, R.M., engaged in dried fruit production, had used water from an illegal deep well for industrial and irrigation purposes without the required authorization.

By the decision of the head of the Armavir regional division of the Inspection Body, the operation of five illegal wells has been suspended.

An administrative fine of 2,000,000 AMD has been imposed on the director of “ALVAN” LLC.
