Awareness Notice: Follow Fire Safety Rules

The Environmental Protection and Mining Inspection Body of the Republic of Armenia, taking into account the prevailing high temperatures across the country and the heightened risk of wildfires, urges citizens to strictly follow fire safety rules.

Particular attention should be paid when spending time in nature and recreational areas:

• Do not light fires in unauthorized areas.
• Do not leave glass containers or other flammable materials behind.
• Do not throw cigarette butts into areas with dry vegetation.
• Strictly comply with established fire safety requirements.

We remind citizens that careless actions can lead to the spread of wildfires, harm to natural ecosystems, and serious consequences for the environment.

Citizens are urged to remain particularly vigilant and responsible, especially in forests, grasslands, and specially protected natural areas.
